Filipino Food: Champorado
I remember when I was still in the Philippines, we used to cook champorado when it’s a little cold. When it’s raining, or there’s typhoon or such. It’s sweet/sticky rice with coco and sugar. One day, I was bored and craving for sweets, I made some and that’s why I had a picture below.
I guess, I was wanting some snack that when I was looking through my pictures, I came across this picture and I craved fr it. Especially it’s thundering, lighting and raining here. It’s kind of gloomy outside, therefore, I have nothing to do and all I want is eat and lay down.
This food is really good, it’s great for 3PM snack, when the kids come home from school. But, the only thing is, my kids don’t eat this. They like corn dogs instead. Sad, they don’t know what they’re missing..
Well, folks, if you are interested in cooking this snack, it’s really easy. Delicious and inexpensive too which is great. Have a great day to all!

Hello Liz…
I so love champorado. I make it every now and then for myself here in Sweden. My boyfriend does not like it that much but he eats sometimes. I love it so much that I have it for dinner when I feel like it. It does not cost a lot and that’s really awesome.
Have a great day!
Chamoprado is love…. my fave!
